Some photographers question this and say I should be more selective. I typically promise 500-750 photos will be delivered for a wedding and am usually ACTUALLY sending 1,200-1,500. Side note: I also find way overdelivering on what you promised to a client nips a lot of this stuff in the bud. I'll listen to a LOT of client questions, comments and concern but if anyone questions THAT aspect of your delivered photos, they simply have no respect for you as a photographer. Photo composition is the very essence of our job and I simply will not accept criticism for the choices I make or don't make in that regard.
